About Mikayla

I have been a SAHM for the last 12 years and have 3 kids ages 12, 8, and 4. I have been nannying for almost a year and I believe my experience as a mom, my understanding of what is necessary to insure children's safety and overall wellbeing, and my former education in Early Childhood Development make me a great nanny. I've always had a passion and talent for nurturing and caring for young children. I have babysat for many families with children ages 1-7. I volunteered in my church's nursery and took early childhood development classes. In high school I worked in the childcare center, where I gained knowledge and skills working with kids 0-5. Through volunteer work and these classes, I gained experience in preparing snacks/meals, planning and facilitating age appropriate activities, crafts, games and educational material, and aiding children in independent and group play. I am trained in CPR and First Aid. I'm happy to help with cooking, meal preparation, and light housekeeping.
