About Mikaila

I'm a mom of two and have several years of experience working with young children in preschool settings, including Guidepost Montessori and Natural Choice Academy. I also have a fingerprint clearance card and am CPR certified. At Guidepost Montessori, I worked in the newborn program where I cared for up to four infants independently, managing feedings, soothing, naps, and age-appropriate developmental activities while maintaining a calm and structured environment. I have a bachelor's degree in psychology and am currently in nursing school in an evening/weekend program. I enjoy creating engaging, age-appropriate activities, spending time outdoors, and supporting children's development through play and everyday experiences. I'm patient, dependable, and passionate about creating a safe, positive environment where children can learn and grow.
