About Mikaela

Hi! My name is Mikaela, and I'm a responsible, patient, kind, fun, caring, and energetic 19-year-old with reliable transportation. While I haven't worked as a professional babysitter, I have experience caring for children within my family, ranging from ages 1 to 9. I am also comfortable around pets and have experience caring for dogs, as I have two dogs of my own. I enjoy spending time with kids and keeping them engaged through puzzles, brain games, and other fun activities. I also enjoy cooking and am comfortable preparing meals and snacks when needed. Safety is very important to me. I received CPR training in high school and have successfully performed the Heimlich maneuver in a real emergency, helping save someone's life. That experience taught me the importance of staying calm and acting quickly. I strive to create a safe, positive, and supportive environment where children feel comfortable, cared for, and encouraged to have fun.
