About Michelle

A compassionate, experienced mother, caregiver & community volunteer, I can assist with childcare, light housework/laundry, and meal prep. I can also assist with transportation/carpools and errands. I left my job as a department director to be a stay-at-home mom; I ran a daycare from my home for four years, teaching, entertaining, crafting & potty-training more than a dozen kids. I then worked in the elementary school and middle school. I am also good with special needs people, having served five years on a nonprofit board & working at another organization for people with disabilities. I've also worked in special education as a 1:1 aid and as a writing lab assistant. My kids are now in college, on one FULL scholarship and the other with generous scholarships studying to treat people diagnosed with cancer. My hubby and I are empty-nesters. I have time, compassion and skill to offer. Let's see if we are a good match.
