We highly recommend Michelle! Michelle was our full-time nanny for a year and a half, caring for children who were 3 ½ and 6 years old when she started with our family. Michelle was always punctual, if not early, professional, and positive. She connected incredibly well with each child and was able to do crafts or games or sports or just creative conversations/play as the children needed and wanted. Michelle also helped our older child with homework and helped reinforce the alphabet and handwriting with our younger child, finding a fun way to do it each and every time. In the afternoons our children had various activities (swimming, gymnastics, etc.), and Michelle took them to the extracurricular activities. She is a very vigilant (“grandma!”) driver and always had the kids going to and then coming back from the activities excited and happy to talk about what they learned. We completely trusted Michelle to care for our children, and to create a positive, creative, and fun environment for them. Lastly, Michelle truly understands that raising children is a team effort and parents do indeed need time away. She always encouraged us to take date nights, and the kids loved spending an evening/overnight with her (either at our place or hers) while we explored new restaurants or just left town for a weekend. She is a great chef and comes up with the most inspiring crafts that our kids would ask to see her for date nights!!
