I took care of my mom who had Alzheimer's for 5 years until she passed away. I also took care of my Aunt who now has Alzheimer's. She is now in an assisted living. I currently take care of an elderly lady every day for an hour at lunch time and for an hour on Tuesday and Thursday evenings for dinner. She also will be going into an assisted living on Monday. I love working with the elderly. When my mom was alive we found it very hard to find someone to help us with her care while we worked. Taking care of the elderly isn't a job for me. I truly am compassionate towards them.
