About Michelle

An experienced educator who recently moved back to Long Island after spending 3 years teaching in Rhode Island. With a Masters degree in Music Education, nurturing a child's curiosity and watching them reach new milestones through a playful approach is my greatest professional passion. I offer a calm, patient approach to childcare. I am a certified teacher in NY and RI, and hold a current CPR training certification. During the pandemic I was a full-time, live-in nanny where I cared for 6-year-old twins, before the family I worked for moved out of state. I have experience working with children of all ages including infants to teenagers. I also have experience working with children with high needs and ADHD. I love getting the kids playing outdoors, solving puzzles, or engaging in games. I prioritize both safety and growth. I am happy to assist with running errands, carpooling, and light housekeeping. I look forward to becoming a supportive, positive presence in your family's daily life!
