About Michelle

I'd describe my personality as responsible, empathetic, and kind. I like working with kids because childcare is very rewarding and fun! I started working with kids when I was a teenager by babysitting family friends' children. I continued to babysit off and on throughout my schooling at PennWest California. After graduating college I began teaching nutrition to families, PreK, elementary, middle school, and high school students. I also teach social and emotional learning to teens. I am a mandated reporter and have all of my clearances available upon request. In my spare time, I like to read, spend time with my cats, and do ceramic art. My skills include gentle teaching, active listening, behavior management, and creative problem solving.
