About Michelle

I have a minor in Child Development from Central Michigan University. I received my Bachelor of Social Work from Central Michigan University and my Masters of Social Work from Grand Valley State University. I interned with an agency where I was working with children aged 1-3 through their Early Head Start Program. I worked for Head Start for a year as an Assistant Teacher with children aged 3-4. During graduate school I worked for a Child Development Center as a substitute teacher where I worked in all the classrooms ranging in age from the Infant Room to school-aged kids. I nannied for a year for a family with a 6-month-old baby as well as for a family with a 3-year-old and 9-year-old. I've worked for the last two years as a child and family therapist at a nonprofit in Denver.
