NOW ACCEPTING Virginia K12 Learning Acceleration Grant as payment option! Hello! I am a 30-year-old, multi-state licensed Elementary and ESL Educator. I am available for homeschool instruction, curriculum design or after school support in the subjects of ELA, ESL math, beginners French and more! I am available to teach group classes or one-on-one both in person and virtually. I provide my own teaching supplies, books, manipulatives, etc. I absolutely love to work with children of all ages! My most recent classroom position was as a 1st grade teacher (3yrs) however I also have experience in 4K-8th grade. These past 5 school years I have been a private homeschool teacher (created own curriculum), a distance learning facilitator, as well as a tutor for children in kindergarten through 10th grade. Michelle has been working with our young homeschooler for 9mo and it has been a very positive experience. Michelle is reliable, candid, communicative, and brings both a sense of humor and a sense of responsibility to her role. Michelle regularly shows up to our house with fresh ideas, ways to expand curriculum, and a positive attitude. I appreciate she doesn't let our child take shortcuts or phone in answers, but instead holds her to an appropriate standard. I'm very glad we hired her.
