I have over 15 years experience working with seniors. I have experience with assisted bathing and medication management. I have worked with people with dementia and Alzheimer's. Additionally, I have over 10 years experience working in group homes with developmentally delayed adults. My philosophy is to offer only the assistance desired or required by whoever I am working with--I try not to impose my own expectations on others. My hope is to not be seen as a "caregiver" but a friend interested in their well being. I am fairly laid back and am always looking to lighten the mood. I take my work seriously, but not myself. Life is too short to sweat the small stuff (and it's all small stuff).
