About Michelle

Hi, I'm Michelle! I'm looking for a full-time nanny position in the Birmingham area and am available to start as soon as 8/13. I have a degree in Human Development and Family Studies from the University of Alabama, experience as a first-grade teacher, and years of babysitting experience with children ages 3 months-12 years. I especially love caring for babies and toddlers and helping them reach those exciting early milestones, but through my teaching experience, I've also grown to absolutely adore caring for older children! I'm a hands-on and attentive caregiver who loves reading, singing, sensory play, getting outside, and creating activities that support children's development. I prefer little-to-no screen time and believe children thrive with consistency, interaction, and opportunities to explore and learn through play.
