I am a fully credentialed teacher with more than 20 years experience. I was outstanding Livermore Educator in 2009. I love teaching and have done intervention groups for my district in Reading and Math. I also spent 8 years teaching over 50 students a month piano when I adopted my three children so I could stay home with them. I ran a drama and choir program for 13 years until I went back to teaching in Livermore. I now run a drama program on Fridays at my school. I love working with children and would love to make a difference by helping students achieve. I work with a 65% latino and social disadvantaged group of students at my current school, so I know the difficulties that students encounter. I hope to talk to you soon!

Michelle has been tutoring my two daughters for several months now and I have to say, she has been a Godsend to our family. She is so patient and so good at what she does. My 13 year old can be difficult to teach at times because she just doesn't have much motivation to learn, but Michelle has been able to get my daughter to open up and start participating in the learning process more in the past several months than my daughter has ever been able to do in her entire academic career. Michelle does have a bit of hearing loss but it hasn't been much of a problem. If I had to go back I would rehire her in a second. She is so much more involved than I ever expected from a tutor. She even went to my daughters IEP meeting, even though I, myself, was unable to make it there. I was involved on a phone call but she was actually there in person. My point is, she really cares. And the 25 years experience is a plus. If anyone can help your child, it's Michelle. I am greatly indebted to her.
