About Michelle

Hi! I am a recent graduate from UCLA (Psychobiology B. S.), and moved back home where I will be living during my gap year before starting graduate school. I have been working with children from ages 4+ since I was 13 years old! I have worked with children in many different settings including coaching basketball and soccer, babysitting, tutoring, and being a camp counselor. I love working with children, and have found myself to easily adapt to new settings, diverse learning styles, and preferences of children and their families. Children's brains absorb information like sponges, so I find it important to support their ideas and let them be in control of their own learning, with guidance. I am a native Spanish speaker, which is a part of my identity that has helped me teach the language. Please feel free to message me with any questions! My hours are flexible, and I am open to overnight babysitting, traveling, etc.
