I've returned to Care after being fortunate enough to have long term clients who have passed or entered LTC. I've cared for a woman with Alzheimer's for 2 yrs until her passing. I cared for a 90 yr old woman with dementia and a 77 yr old woman with dementia and colon cancer. I'm naturally drawn to elder care, my grandmother suffered from dementia . Previous years I worked in the restaurant and retail grocery business. I am a kind, compassionate, and patient caregiver. I am prompt and reliable. I can assist with light housekeeping, laundry, meal preparation, bathing, cognitive impairment activities. outside appointments, medication admin. I am looking for 3-4 hour shifts. I am available for one-time jobs . I am UNABLE to do transferring or bed bathing. References will happily be provided. Michele has cared for my 91 y.o. mother for the last 2 1/2 years until she recently entered an Assisted Living community. Michele is skilled in caring for elderly people. She is very patient and kind. She was beyond helpful to me in going above and beyond by taking my Mom on outings to Thrift stores, to doctor’s appointments or maybe just to get an ice cream cone. This was not easy as my Mom had a great deal of difficulty ambulating even with a walker. Michele provided me with a great deal of comfort when she was with my Mom and definitely gave my Mom undivided, caring attention.
