About Michela

I'd describe my personality as encouraging, adaptable, and motivated. As a highly motivated individual with a M. S. in Biology, I am eager to share my passion for science and academic learning through tutoring. My experiences, range from serving as an Adjunct Biology Instructor at GVSU for four years, to leading biological surveys that have honed my scientific knowledge. My hands on experience in research in addition to educating our younger generation has positioned me to guide students towards success. I began my tutoring journey in high school, where I taught math and English. In graduate school, I taught university students in areas such as genetics and microbiology. I am very patient and an adaptable individual. I understand, value, and respect the uniqueness of each student's learning journey. I seek tutoring opportunities in the fields of Science, Math, and English In my spare time, I play volleyball leagues with friends and I love spending time outdoors.
