I'm a life long Bexley resident that spent the last 25 years working in Assisted Living and nursing home facilities. My background is in the culinary field and I would interview them and their families to learn their dietary preferences. I have experience taking care of people and pets . I have made many friends over the years and definitely had favorites that I would deliver coffee to each morning. I even adopted a blind three legged Terrier after one or our residents passed away. I can run errands , housekeeping, laundry, yard work ETC. I currently take care of a veteran who has multiple issues, and I was taking care of an Alzheimer's patient who recently passed away. Michael is very good with my parents and has a wonderful relationship with my father with dementia., My father feels as though he has a buddy now as all of our other caregivers have been female. Michael is patient and kind beyond measure. He's even brought to my attention little things that can be done around the house to make my parent's life easier. He is a wonderful addition to the caregiver team we have in place for them. We are hoping to keep our of parents living in their home and not have to resort to a retirement home. Care.com has provided us with a wonderful team of people that make my parents life a happier place!
