About Michael

As a caregiver, I'm passionate about supporting families and providing a safe and nurturing environment for children. I have 7 years of child welfare casework experience, which often left me supervising anywhere from 1-6 children for hours at a time. My calm and patient demeanor, coupled with my creativity and imagination, allows me to connect with children and foster their development through engaging activities. I believe in open communication with parents and follow their preferred method, whether it's verbal updates at pickup or regular text or phone call updates. I'm comfortable enforcing household rules as guided by the parents, and I enjoy a variety of games with children, from outdoor sports to board games and educational games. I hold a bachelors degree that included coursework in early child development, and I'm certified in First Aid and CPR. I'm also willing to assist with cooking, meal preparation, light housekeeping, and swimming supervision.
