I moved to California over two years ago, and have been nannying for a family since. But my nannying journey with my currently family is ending, and I'm looking for a new opportunity in Hayward or near Hayward. I'm mostly searching for a family in need half day care, but I'm open to talking about days and hours. Before my move to California I had been working in an Eco-friendly, Eco-healthy child care center in New Hampshire. I worked in the infant and toddler classroom with a multiple age group of children varying from 3 months old to three years. Our center was also nature based, and the third in the state to have our play yard certified as a nature-based Outdoor Classroom. I also received my Early Childhood teacher Level 1 Certificate of Achievement. I love to be outside exploring nature. I find that being outside playing is one of the most important aspects of being a child. I also enjoy doing arts and crafts, and have a small background in Visual Arts.

Prior to my 2 year old son going to Montessori pre-school, my family had the pleasure of knowing Michaela as the nanny for my two sons. Michaela is a very sweet, loving, easy-going, and accommodating person who truly loves my two boys like her own family. She has cared for my two sons for two years, and they are currently 2 and 7 years old now. Her duties included, but not limited to, transporting, meal preparation, nap time, light cleaning, and conflict resolution. She has engaged both boys in developmentally appropriate activities, helped my older son with his school homework, and cared for both when they were sick (monitoring temperature, giving medicine). Michaela has been very reliable and showed up on time for her shifts, appointments, and for taking my 7 year old to school. Michaela also has good communication skills, where throughout the day she would text photos, videos, questions, and concerns regarding the children. Michaela was also very safe with the kids, and kept them both comfortable and fed.
