About Michaela

In high school I babysat for a family of two children aging 3 and 10, a family with three children aging 4, 4, and 7, and another family with three children aging 4, 6, and 8. Along with babysitting I have also tutored six different children aging 5 to 12 in subjects such as Math, English, and Science. Throughout college I helped a family of three girls aging 2, 4, and 6 now 6, 8, and 10. I graduated from Bucknell University with a Bachelor's of Science degree majoring in Animal Behavior and minoring in Education. I recently graduated from Columbia University with my masters in Ecology, Evolution, and Environmental Biology. During my masters, I babysat for a family with two boys, aged 5 and 9, and an infant aged 5 months old. I have a lot of experience babysitting and tutoring children and I think every child is truly unique and lovely! I would love to be able to help any child learn and grow.

Michaela is amazing!! She worked with us for one year doing after school pickups and care for our 10yo son, as well as evening sitting. We trust her 100%. She always kept him engaged and safe; she was excellent about communication and keeping us informed on anything going on, large or small. She is patient and caring, super responsible, and a joy to have around our family. She helped take him to lessons, haircuts, the orthodontist, play dates, you name it. Michaela really got to understand who our son was and things he would like; she suggested great activities, books and games for him. Any family who works with her is very lucky!
