About Mica

I have 20+ years as an educator and childcare pro. I had the pleasure of serving as a K-2 classroom teacher and as a certified Reading Instructor for K-5th at a local private school. I am on extended furlough from my professional work as founding director of a local, non-profit after school program called Charlotte Street Kids. Now that my own three kids are out of the nest and settled at college, I'm eager to stay busy working with kids and families until, if and when, my program opens back up (no sooner than August of 2022). Many references for Infant-5th grade available upon request. I practice a scrupulous pandemic safety lifestyle. I am interested in working with a small group of school age kids for help with online school, or with a family with no more than two infant-pre-k aged children. Stay safe!
