About Mia

Hello, I am currently a senior in college and I am currently student teaching to become a PE teacher. I love teaching and caring for children, I have worked as a camp counselor for numerous summers, and I am CPR certified. I'd describe my personality as patient, experienced, and responsible. I like working with kids because they have such great imaginations and are so much fun to spend time with. I find that teaching and learning when dealing with children go hand in hand and that is something I have really come to admire about working with children whether that be a babysitter or a teacher. I'm looking for a job that is needed on the weekends because I am working full time as a teacher during the weekdays. I started working with kids when I was 14 at a sports camp that went for a week for several weeks over the summer. In my spare time, I like to read, go on long walks, and swim in the ocean. My skills include being a leader, communicating, and creative problem solving.
