About Mia

I currently work at a caregiving facility on my college campus, have tutoring experience, can legally drive, carry simple conversation in Spanish, and enjoy spending time outside! I'd describe my personality as authentic, empathetic, and understanding. I like working with kids because each child's personality is amazing/unique. It's our responsibility to care for them/remind them they're capable of anything. I'm looking for a job that allows me to help a family in need of any care while having a respectable relationship. I started working with kids at 15 years old, helping take care of 5 children while forming such amazing relationships. In my spare time, I spend time with family/friends, cook, crochet, workout, go on walks/hikes, watch movies/shows, and go to concerts. One thing you should know about me is I'm currently learning ASL. My skills include encouraging children to be independent, listening/understanding children, and help them express their emotions to navigate situations.
