About Mia

Hi! I'm Mia, a graduate student pursuing a master's degree in Mental Health Counseling. I have cared for a 1 & 2 yr old, helping with meals, routines, playtime, and I have also cared for a 9 & 11 yr old! I'm warm, thoughtful, and attentive, and I love finding activities that fit each child's age, personality, and interests. I care a lot about children feeling safe, happy, supported, and able to enjoy being kids. I enjoy working out, cooking and baking, reading, spending time outside, and working on creative projects. My counseling background has deepened my care and interest in kids' emotional development and play. I value kindness, respect, and open communication. I'm comfortable with pets, and can assist with meals, homework, transportation, and light housekeeping. I care a lot about doing right by the children I'm responsible for and being someone both children and parents can trust.
