About Mia

I have 7 years of experience working with kids ages 2-12. I'm very passionate for working with children with learning disabilities. I started my childcare career working in summer camps with large groups of kids, some classes ages 3-4, some older. With my starting rate being $25 an hour, part of my job is cooking meals and snacks for the child and cleaning up after, light housekeeping, help with homework/schoolwork, and carpooling. For an additional $5 an hour I will take on more of a housekeeping roll, such as laundry, cooking meals for the entire family/meal prep, cleaning dishes left by the family, etc. I'm an experienced cook as well. Getting to be part of your children's upbringing is an honor and a great responsibility that I take very seriously. My strategy is to provide your children with as much support and love as possible, encourage independence (varies with ages), and to help them be the happiest, best version of themselves they can be.
