About Mia

I've loved working with children since a young age, and nurturing their curiosity while watching them reach new milestones is my true passion. I hold a bachelor's degree in psycholgy and Spanish, am CPR and First Aid certified, and have over eight years of experience working with children and adolescents in settings like International School and NIH. I am starting a masters in counseling this fall, reflecting my passion for child development and supporting children's emotional wellbeing. I love planning creative activities such as arts and crafts, educational games, board games, reading, outdoor adventures, and active play. I strive to make each day both fun and enriching while encouraging curiosity, independence, and kindness. I believe strong communication with parents is essential, and I'm happy to provide regular updates, daily summaries, or check-ins based on your preferences.
