About Mia

Hi there! My name is Mia, and I am a UC Berkeley undergrad student studying to become a high school teacher. I have a passion for working with children of all ages, striving to foster a supportive environment where children can express themselves, explore their interests, and have fun while receiving the guidance they need. I enjoy staying active through yoga, hiking, and going to the gym. I also love creative hobbies such as sewing and painting. Qualifications • Experience working in educational settings with children from toddlers to 14 years old (since 2019) • Experience in both early childhood and middle school education • 6 months of student teaching experience Availability • Weekday afternoons and evenings • Full availability on weekends I have a year of experience in house/ pet sitting, including caring for dogs with daily feeding and walks, maintaining pet areas, watering plants, and housekeeping. Will be back in La area August 15th and in Berkeley the 26th!
