About Mia

Empowering elementary students to master new concepts and build lasting confidence is my primary goal. I hold a college degree and leverage my experience to create an engaging, supportive, and patient learning environment. Whether we are tackling math, science, or English, I break down complex problems into manageable steps to build momentum. I foster critical thinking by encouraging interactive discussions and curiosity. I believe open communication with both students and parents is essential to building trust and setting clear expectations. By seeking regular feedback, I adapt my teaching methods to suit your child's unique learning style. I am available to tutor at your home, the library, a community center, or a local coffee shop. Nothing brings me more joy than watching a student's confidence grow as they master new skills, and I look forward to supporting your child's educational journey.
