About Mia

Hi families! My name is Mia, and I'm a caring, energetic, and dependable childcare provider who loves working with children! I graduated from SUNY New Paltz with a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood and Childhood Education (Birth-Grade 6) and am a New York State certified teacher. I currently work as a Lead Universal Pre-K teacher, creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for young learners. Through my teaching and childcare experiences, I've developed a strong understanding of child development, daily routines, positive behavior guidance, and age-appropriate activities. I love arts and crafts, spending time outdoors, reading stories, and making everyday moments meaningful! I especially enjoy working with younger children, but I love caring for children of all ages. I'm seeking occasional weekend work and a summer nanny position. I would love to become a trusted part of your family's routine. I look forward to connecting and learning more about your family!
