About Mhy-lanie

I am a physician by training and am currently working in a genetics biotech startup from home. I have some flexibility in my schedule and would like to spend that time to support seniors in my neighborhood. I have a soft spot for seniors, as both of my parents have retired and now live internationally. I've spent time volunteering in senior assisted living homes while I was in medical school. Doing this a side gig, as I would love to connect and learn from our elders! I'd describe my personality as empathetic, grounded, life-learner. I like caring for seniors because I love hearing their stories. I travel a bit, but In my spare time, I like to learn new skills, watch Nova on PBS and hang out with my pets and family.
