About Merritt

Throughout high school I babysat countless times for families in my neighborhood and have always loved it. I watched over kids from ages 6 months to 11 years old. With these jobs I did laundry, made dinner, gave baths, changed diapers, helped with homework, taught to read, cleaned up the kitchen, played board games, etc. None of it ever really felt like a job because it is what I love to do. I have also been on 3 different service trips to Nicaragua and the Dominican Republic where I spent every day teaching children English, the importance of kindness & caring, and even how to play the drums. Growing up I had many babysitters from Care and loved each one of them. We had a lot of fun together and now I would like to do the same with other children!
