Merlin worked for us as a temporary nanny for my infant and 2 year old. She is incredibly kind and loving. She has a lot of experience and is very professional. She was always early or on time and never called out. She helped sleep train our baby, teaching her to sleep independently during nap time. When Merlin helped with my older child, he took to her immediately and loved playing with her. She has a calming demeanor and we loved having her with us.

We are SO very lucky to have found Merlin who from the interview displayed her love and passion for working with babies. We also found how easy and effortless it was to communicate openly and connect with her and her with us. At the interview, we loved how she first held our 6 week old daughter at the time and interacted with her with such warmth and joy, as well as learning that Merlin specialized in newborns. Since Merlin has been working for us for the past two and a half months, we have seen tremendous growth and development with our daughter. Merlin has a gift in working with babies like it is second nature to her and it shows in how happy she is around babies. Merlin's only focus when working is our baby and her needs, and shows such strong commitment and dedication to doing what is best for the baby. Merlin has great knowledge in the areas of physical, mental, and social development of babies spending hours daily reading, playing, taking baby out on walks, singing, doing tummy time and talking to baby. Merlin also came to us at a perfect time when we were lost in how to put our baby in a sleep routine. She has great knowledge in guiding us how to establish nap/bed times and teaching baby to self-sooth. Merlin also came to me at a time I was struggling with feeding issues and she was instrumental in helping me to address them with a establishing clear plans to help overcome them, which we are still working on to this day effectively. And if something doesn't work Merlin is determined to help finds other ways and solutions which demonstrates her adaptability and flexibility, also focusing on what's best for mom and baby. Merlin also has great knowledge for any moms needing help with breastfeeding as well and since Merlin has been with us, I am breastfeeding more successfully. We feel all this progress could not have been achieved without Merlin and are so grateful to her! 
Currently Merlin is working for us full-time, but she has also shown her great understanding and flexibility with us in being willing to consider working for us part-time as well at some point. 
I highly recommend Merlin to anyone who needs a baby specialist/nanny without any reservation. Anyone will be so lucky to have her, as someone like Merlin is difficult to find and we are so blessed to have found her. She is now like a part of our family and I look forward to having a life long relationship with her.

Merlin is the BEST nanny that a family could ever ask for!  Merlin took care of my son when he was four months old for about 6 weeks.  She was our first nanny when I started back to work full time, and took care of my son five days a week for 10 hours a day.  Having Merlin's bright smile and calm demeanor show up promptly each morning made it easier for me to transition back to my job.  I don't think I could have done it without her!  While with Merlin, my son excelled in all areas -- tummy time, reading books, starting to crawl, and grasping toys.  My son still loves books, and I give full credit to Merlin for getting him started on the right path!  Merlin also had a lot of advice for me about breastfeeding, and was a wonderful support for me and for my husband.  She stressed that we were all part of a team to help my son grow and excel, and with her positive attitude, wealth of knowledge and warm and caring manner, my son thrives. There is no higher recommendation than the one I can give Merlin. She cared for my son from 5 months to almost 3 years, and the only reason that stopped was that I was laid off. She read books to him for hours a day, she took him on long walks to the park to keep him stimulated, cooked for him as soon as he could eat food, and immediately became a life-long part of our family. I am forever thankful for her bond with my son-she treated him as her own without ever overstepping her boundaries as his care giver. She taught him patience, kindness, and took every opportunity to teach him about the world and his place in it. He is now 6, and she is still at every one of our family functions-as we are at hers!! She truly is amazing with children-and you would be incredibly lucky to have her with yours. 

It is with pleasure that I write this review to attest to the exemplary character of our fantastic nanny. She has worked for our family since my son was 3 months old.  He is now over 2 years old.  In that time, we have been extremely impressed with the quality of care she has provided our son.  As a new Mom, it was a daunting experience to return to work after 3 months of maternity leave.  Within the first week of she caring for our son, I felt highly confident that we had made the right choice by hiring her as our nanny.  Over the past 2 years, she has demonstrated nothing short but the highest level of commitment to the development and well being of our son.
