About Merilyn

I am the oldest of 6 children so I have always been very nurturing. I grew up with a lot of family around and have always helped with cooking & making sure people are taken care of. I love working with people because I feel like I'm giving back to my community & I have lots of energy for this kind of work. I decided to go further with my studies and earned my Nurse Aide License after having my own children in the hospital. The Nurse's aide who helped me during that time was so caring & inspired me to really push towards this career. I am a very happy person. I love living a healthy lifestyle & cooking healthy meals. I truly enjoy being outdoors with my clients. If they are energetic, we can exercise together! I love to make sure my clients are living their best life! I have 20+ years of experience assisting the elderly( incl. mental health) in daily living activities, as well as childcare - some children on the autism spectrum. I look forward to being your next caregiver!
