Hello, I am a retired firefighter who enjoys helping people get out and about. My main desire is to provide travel companion services for those desiring a safe, planned excursion either locally or out of town. My rate depends on the kind of travel plus expenses/mileage. Locally, $28/ hour, mileage after 20 miles. I'd describe my personality as easy going, energetic and patient. I'm looking for a job that brings people joy by helping them do something they want to do, but can't do by themselves. I started caring for seniors when I rented a room from an elderly woman in 2020 and we became great friends. My skills include being an invested companion, preparing realistic travel plans, staying vigilant about safety and precautions.
