About Merdie

Empowering students to reach their full potential is at the heart of my teaching practice. With five years of experience, I specialize in building confidence through personalized support across subjects ranging from Math and English to Test Preparation and the Arts. I believe in fostering a genuine love for learning by breaking down complex concepts into manageable steps and connecting material to your personal interests. By actively observing how you interact with new ideas, I adapt my strategies--whether through visual aids, hands-on activities, or open discussion--to suit your unique needs. I prioritize clear, consistent communication with both students and families to ensure we are always working toward your goals. Nothing is more rewarding to me than watching a student's confidence soar as they master a new skill. I look forward to helping you discover your own path to academic success.
