Hello! I'm citizen in USA. I've been in the country for 28 years and I'm looking for a job as part time, nanny/babysitter. I have 10 yrs. working with kids (newborn/toddler) and I have the references available. My duties while I'm babysitting are observe and monitoring the baby support children's emotional and social development, encouraging, understanding of others and positive self concepts. Teach good manners. I like to prepare and feed them with healthy meals and snacks. Instruct children in health and personal habits, such us eating, resting, potty train, brush their teeth and wash hands. At the house I like to read to them and play. When we go outside we go to the park, library and special classes. I clean and organize their rooms and toys, do laundry.. We can't recommend Mercedes highly enough! Mercedes has been caring for our son from when he was 4 months old until almost 16 months, and she has been absolutely fantastic. We're only parting ways because we're moving and he's starting full-time daycare. First of all, she is incredibly reliable. In all that time she never took a sick day, and she arrived 10 to 15 minutes early every single day. She was also wonderfully flexible and happily stayed late whenever we needed her. Most importantly, her connection with our son is amazing. He simply adores her. Mercedes is warm, friendly, and engaged, filling his days with trips to the park and library, singing songs together, and plenty of play. She also cooked fresh meals for him every day, which gave us real peace of mind. Any family would be lucky to have Mercedes. We will miss her so much!
