About Mercedes

Hi! My name is Mercedes, and I'm a caring, responsible, and experienced nanny based in the Boston area. I'm currently looking for a full-time, long-term position (40+ hours/week). I have experience caring for children from newborns through early childhood. I'm experienced with infant and toddler care, including feeding, diapering, sleep routines, meal preparation, bath and bedtime routines, children's laundry, and age-appropriate activities and play. I have a degree in Nutrition and Dietetics from Universidad de Antioquia in Colombia, as well as professional experience supporting early childhood programs. This has given me knowledge of child development, nutrition, breastfeeding, and complementary feeding. Spanish is my first language, and I communicate in English as well. I'm happy to speak Spanish with children if a family is looking for a bilingual environment. I'm First Aid & CPR certified and would love to find a family where I can build a trusting, long-term relationship.
