About Mercedes

I was a reading/english EA, substitute teacher and after school club organizer for grades 1st-8th at the Village School for 3 years. I'm close with many members of the Village School community and still provide childcare for them and substitute on occasion. I encourage education and feel very enthusiastic about helping where I can in any area of learning. As well as sitting and care I hold a cosmetology license, and have taken a 200 hour yoga teacher training and a 3 month death doula training. My hobbies include: crochet, jazz, canoeing, physical health and nutrition, history, ancestry, research, astrology any and all handwork (sewing, weaving, embroidery, beadwork etc) and relaxing at home with my husband and 3 cats! I'm more than happy to provide other services such as light kitchen clean up, cooking (vegan, vegetarian and picky eaters (-: ), and helping the children complete their chores. I really do love to help so please let me know what I can do to help alleviate any stress!
