About Melody

Hey there! A bit about me: I'd describe my personality as bubbly, responsible, and curious. I like working with kids because nurturing feels natural. I love being around children and their curiosity. I'm CPR certified and have a bachelor's degree in biochemistry and advanced molecular biology. I love to teach kids about plants and animals. I started working with kids quite young; I helped a lot with my younger brother since we have a large age gap. I would volunteer every week for the churches nursery, and was the neighborhood babysitter. I had a few part time nannying positions in my first couple years of college. In my spare time, I like to paint, sculpt, play the piano, garden, knit, and read If you choose to hire me, your children and I will be doing arts and crafts, playing at the park, learning, and reading stories out loud. My skills include juggling multiple children, meal time, bed time, and tutoring.
