About Melody

Hi my name is Melody. One family I work with loving refers to me as Nanny Mel. I have loved working with kids for as long as I can remember. I started babysitting at 12 and had a solid business all through my teen years. I have nannied and worked in daycares/preschools over the years. I have also been a floral designer and have worked as a social worker. I am experienced with all ages of children but I especially enjoy caring for babies and toddlers. I am a mom to 4 kids ages 12, 16, 18, and 20. I stayed home with my children for 15 years. I enjoyed that season so much. My oldest son is Autistic. I am very comfortable working with kids on the spectrum and enjoy supporting families on this path. I am looking for part time work along with supportting families needing care for dates and such, on an as needed basis. I prefer to care for children in their home but my home is an option as well.
