About Melody

I have over 20 years of experience in caring for children. I've managed a family child care and hold my bachelor's degree in child development from Central Michigan University. I have live-in and live out nanny experience, along with travel and newborn care. I love to be outdoors, create fun and engaging activities for children and laugh and be silly, while giving age appropriate guidance. I believe in getting down to a child's level while giving them love and patience. I love to travel and have a very adventurous spirit. I have also traveled with families on vacations or road trips. I have been a trusted and reliable care professional for several families. I have been trained by the newborn care training academy and am a certified newborn care specialist and certified breastfeeding counselor. I've helped families in many areas of their care needs including pet care. I'm a pet owner and have love for all the creatures.
