About Melody

I've been babysitting for the past two years, mostly helping out friends and family who need some kid-free time. I usually watch kids around 5 and 12, and I love keeping them busy, laughing, and feeling cared for. Growing up with a single parent taught me the importance of being there for others values I bring into every babysitting job. People describe me as bubbly and, would say i'm good at keeping a balance of fun and structure. I'm big on interactive play and keeping kids off screens whether we're making crafts, or spending time outside. I love the outdoors myself and often go on advanced hiking trips with my close friend, so I'm always excited to share that same energy and love for adventure with the kids I watch! I do really well with routines. I'm usually balancing two jobs at once, so staying disciplined comes naturally to me! I'm a great communicator and love finding solutions when challenges pop up. I also bring a lot of outdoor energy and enthusiasm to everything I do.
