About Mellery

Hi there- I'm Mellery, and I've worked with and cared for children ages 6 months through 17 years for over a decade now! Through my experience as a nanny, classroom aide, after-school educator, summer camp counselor, and behavioral health technician, I've learned how to meet kids where they are while also encouraging them to grow and explore their inner and outer worlds. I enjoy the outdoors in any capacity and all weather, though I totally get the appeal of a blanket fort and a good movie. I'm a big fan of crafting, reading, and using our imaginations, and I seek to nurture each child's inherent curiosity and to maintain a safe and comfortable environment in which they may grow in confidence, intelligence, and overall spirit.
