About Melissa

I have been working as a nanny for over 18 years but my experience in childcare started many years before, first as a babysitter in the evenings, over summer break, and on weekends, then later as a full time nanny. My skills as a multi-tasker and self starter include organizing, tidying, food preparation, cooking, and childcare with a focus on consistency, and loving care. I am First Aid, and CPR certified and have been background checked and have a Livescan fingerprinting report. My care philosophy uses RIE methods using respect, trust and connection. I am a certified massage therapist specializing in infant massage and have trained in Baby Sign and Babywearing. love kids and appreciate how much they have to teach us on a daily basis. Age appropriate developmental activities, and outdoor time are some of the favorite things to do with children in my care. My son is currently 10 months old and we are looking for a family to work with together.
