About Melissa

Hi! My name is Melissa. I love working with kids and have experience working for my church's Sunday school and kids ministry in which I worked with children ages 2-12 for a little over two years. I also worked for over a year as an Assistant Pre-K teacher with kids 4-5 as well as an After School teacher for kids 6-11. I have experience nannying full-time for a 5-month-old baby for about three months until the family no longer needed care. I then nannied an 8-month-old baby for four months until the family no longer needed care, in which I was then referred to another family and cared for another 8-month-old baby for five months. Additionally, I nannied nanny 7-year-old twins for over 1yr-- this included picking them up from school, preparing lunches at home, tutoring, and driving them to extracurriculars. I currently nanny a 1 and 2 yr old full time. I am extremely hard-working, organized, and flexible. I am more than willing to run errands, help keep tidy and clean, and prepare meals.

Melissa has been amazing with our 5 month old! She took the time to get to know me first over care.com, then went above and beyond to reach out to my wife to get to know her as well. We met up in person and she was just as advertised, and ever since has been exactly what we needed. She is right on time, flexible, and understanding. She plays with our little guy all day long, and sticks within our guidelines for activities for the day. She really is a perfect sitter, and you can't find anyone better. Highly recommend reaching out to her if you are in need, just don't steal her from me!
