About Melissa

I currently work in a preschool setting for ages 3-5 years old. My main priory was creating, planning and cooking nutritious meals for the kids all from scratch! I quickly transitioned into the classroom full time as an aide. My classroom duties consist of managing behaviors and redirecting using positive redirection and child lead play. I am first aid and CPR certified for both kids and pets! Due to the nature of my current job I often take courses in childhood development provided by my job. It's my priority to assure each child's needs are met in a kind, and nurturing way. I am currently looking to move away from the classroom setting and focus on one family at a time. Connection and communication is super important to me.. I will be able to provide you with references of a family ive worked with along with references from management and coworkers at my current job.
