About Melissa

I have been a pet owner all of my life and currently have a male Shorkie. He has never met a stranger and would love to have a playmate. We walk a minimum of 1. 5 miles a day. I have had the privilege of fostering animals for two different rescue services in Georgia. References can be provided upon request. My earliest memory working with dogs was before I was 10. Our Boston Terrier refused to nurse her 8 puppies, so we got up in the night to feed them. My favorite thing to do is cuddle up with my Shorkie and watch TV. My skills include basic training. I enjoy keeping pets brushed & looking well groomed. It helps to ward off mats & gives fleas & ticks fewer places to hide. Non-aggressive play is also high on the list.
