About Melissa

Availability: 6-11 p.m. weekdays and 8-11 p.m. weekends. Philosophy: I believe that children thrive when they are provided with a safe and supportive environment where they are free to play, explore, experiment, create and discover the world around them. I am comfortable with pets, but am allergic to dog dander so if the contact is minimal, it's ok. Education & Experience I received my BA in Early Childhood education and have 6 years of experience working at an early childhood center (in various roles from teacher - director) with children age 6 months- 6 years. I raised three children of my own. My youngest attends UCSD and the other two received their BA degrees. I've also worked as a county child welfare services social worker and State licensing analyst for child care programs.
