About Melissa

I am currently transitioning from a professional healthcare provider to a career in early education and childcare. My graduate degree, along with coursework in Early Child Development, has given me a strong educational foundation. My background also includes over 25 years of experience caring for children of all ages and 5+ years functioning as a mentor and tutor while working with after school programs in the Tri-state area. I am passionate about supporting children's growth, development, and well-being. I am patient, calm, friendly, and approachable, and I enjoy engaging children through play-outdoor and/or indoor activities. I am First Aid and CPR certified and comfortable caring for children of all ages.
