Hi! I'm a proud mom of four grown children, and caring for others has always been at the heart of who I am. I loved being a stay-at-home mom and raising my children in a safe, loving home. Once my children were in school, I began working for a national nonprofit organization in a group home caring for individuals with disabilities. I had the privilege of caring for the same core group for nearly 20 years. I've also worked in daycare settings and provided childcare from my home for friends and neighbors over the years. I am currently a full-time nanny for a wonderful family, but my little one will soon be heading to preschool, so I am now looking for my next family to grow with. Melissa has been with our family since March 2023, when our daughter was 7 months old. Over the three years she has been extremely reliable, flexible, and consistently on time, which has meant so much to us as working parents. Her communication is excellent - she always keeps us updated on my daughter's day and is very easy to work with. What stands out is how engaged she is with my daughter. She doesn't just supervise - she actively plays with her - playing dress up, doing crafts, dancing, etc. It's clear she genuinely enjoys spending time with children. She has also helped my daughter with major milestones - potty training, learning her numbers and letters, using scissors, and so much more. We are so grateful for the care, patience, and consistency she has provided over the years! Any family would be lucky to have her!
